Superior Control was founded in 2008 by control systems engineer, Troy Huisman. The company began by supporting industrial automation projects and gradually specialized in control panel manufacturing for OEM equipment and facility infrastructure.

Troy Huisman
Founder
Troy has over 20 years of experience in the control systems design, programming, and assembly field. He founded Superior Control in 2008 and has demanded the highest level of quality and service ever since. Troy will tell you his favorite part of this job is hearing clients say, “Ever since you installed the system, I don’t even have to think about it.” UL Certified and experienced in ABB and VFD commissioning, Troy has experience in a wide variety of system startups.
He enjoys spending his downtime with his family, coaching youth football, and participating in various outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, skiing, and snowmobiling.
Will Gulick
COO
Will Gulick serves as Chief Operating Officer at Superior Control Systems. With nine years of experience in the controls and automation industry, Will focuses on operations leadership, delivering reliable control systems for customers, and helping scale the company as it continues to grow.

Will earned degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Astrophysics from Arizona State University. His technical background and problem-solving mindset help drive operational excellence and practical solutions across the organization. He is passionate about empowering teams and turning complex systems into simple, reliable solutions for customers. Outside of work, Will enjoys golfing, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.
